1) Booking a holiday.

To make a booking a booking form must be completed and sent to us with a deposit of 25% for each person. One person, acting for the people listed on the booking form, must sign the form. Alternatively, a booking can be made by giving the requested details over the telephone. By giving us your details and indicating your desire to book with us, you will be deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions of our contract.

Confirmation of the booking will normally be sent within 7 working days. The booking is not accepted and no contract exists until the date shown on the confirmation invoice.

2)  Payments.

The balance shown on the invoice must be paid 4 weeks prior to the commencement of the holiday.If the booking is made less than 4 weeks before departure full payment must be made on booking.

If the balance is not paid in time we reserve the right to cancel your holiday and apply the cancellation charges outlined below.

 

3)  Risks and Hazards.

Your booking is accepted on the understanding that you realise the risks and hazards of such a holiday, including the dangers inherent in cycling and walking either on the road or off the road, or the dangers inherent in the other activities included in individual holidays. It is your responsability to ride with due care at all times.

Your bookings is accepted on the understanding that you realise the risks of such holidays in terms of potential for delay and alternationns, due to possible changes in local politics, weather, border restrictions, didease, loss or damage to property, inconvenience and discomfort.

 

4)  Responsibilities.

Our responsibility does not commence until the appointed time at the designated meeting point.  If you fail to arrive at the designated meeting point at the appointed time, for whatever reason, we will not be responsible for any additional expences incurred by you to start the tour.

You should keep valuables safely with you at all times.

 

5)  Luggage.

The liability of the luggage stays by the transportation company.

 

6)  Cancellation by you.

If you wish to cancel your holiday, this must be in writing by the person who signed the booking form or booked over the telephone and whose name is shown on the invoice. The following cancellation rates will apply:-

1.  28 days before departure date -  40% of the holiday cost

2.  15 to 27 days before departure - 60 % of the holiday cost

3.  Less than 15 days - No refund

If you are unable to undertake the holiday due to circumstances that would normally permit you to make a claim on a travel insurance policy, you may transfer the booking to another person.

 

7)  Cancellation by us.

We will not cancel a holiday unless

-we are forced to do so by unusual or unforeseen circumstances, war, civil or political unrest, or what is usually known as "force majeure" or

-if the minimum number of people required to operate the holiday has not been reached. In this case we will  inform you no less than 21 days before departue date.

If we do decide to cancel a tor we will, if possible, offer an alternative tour.

If this is not acceptable to you then a full refund will be given.
