7 days individual hiking off the beaten track in the limestone montains of Majorca with a touch of adventure , well organized,  with your mate, your  family or some friends is recommended  for everyone who prefers to travel  on his own. 

Majorca is the greatest and most popular island of the balearic archipel. Maybe you have already known the high temperature, sunny weather almost all the year, the beaches and the coastline.

Now you may discover the other side of Majorca with its infinite long distance walking-path to the hill, through wild canyons and green valleys.

We have selected some of them for your unforgettable trekking tour. You may enjoy the spectacular vantage points and the bizarre rocky forms,  boulder and wild cliffs will make you breathless.

Undiscovered und hidden Majorca – Serra de Tramuntana mountains Enjoy the majorquin traditional dishes, the local craft and the people of the island on your route .

The hike tour begins in the biggest monastery, the monastery of Luc. But don’t worry, the formerly friar’s cell are quite comfortable and fitted up to the newest standards.

The tour goes on through the central Tramuntana range to the wild shaped Tossals massif and the stone-made refuge. Further on hill up through the orange valley to the seeport of Soller where the next refuge with the spectacular far-sightedness over the see is expecting you.

Other highlight around Soller is the famous tiny village of Fornalutx well known as the most beautiful village of Spains.

The next tour leads you to Deia and Valldemossa, best known for his monastery  ‘Sa Cartoixa’ where the pianist Chopin and his mate the writer of ‘The winter in Majorca’, George Sand once lived.

The tour finishes in the mountain village Deia with its traditional stone houses, olive-tree groves and palms, which offers a picturesque sight to the visitor.

The moments sitting under the native one-tousend-years-old trees and the atmosphere of the antic history breathe in past- – unforgettable!

The excursions:

The routs depend on the  succession of the booked refuges(lodging house), the weather and the condition of the members therefore they are not fixed. The details of the routs will be announced at the arrival by  your travel attendant.

Here an example for a possibly route: 

Day 1.  arrival at the  Son Joan Airport– information by your travel attendant, transfer to Deyá-refuge Can Boi

Day 2.  in the morning: excursion from Deyá-Cala Deya – Deyá (approx.3 Std.)
           in the afternoon:excursion to Valldemossa (by bus)
Day 3.  from  Deyá – Camí Castello – refugio Muleta  (approx. 5,5 Std.)
Day 4.  walk to Fornalutx ‘in the orange valley’ over Binibasi  (approx. 4,5 Std.)

Day 5.  from refuge Muleta – Porto Soller – Soller – Biniaratx to refuge  Tossal Verds (approx. 7,5 Std.)
Day 6.  from Tossals verd to refuge Son Amer (approx. 6,5 Std.)
Day 7.  visit of monastery Lluc, departure

Ability for hiking and walking for about 4-7 hours a day, good conditions of health and secure footstep; Ascent of maximum 850 m, descent of maximum 550 m
